The University of Toronto International Health Program (UTIHP) is a student-run non-profit organization who accepts and promotes the World Health Organizations definition of health as:
"The ability to identify and to realize aspirations, to satisfy needs, and to change or cope with the environment. Health is therefore a resource for life, not the object of living. Health is a positive concept emphasizing social and personal resources as well as physical capacities." (WHO,1986)
